This is a dual role with responsibilities for Compliance and Operational Continuous Improvement. The ideal candidate will divide their time evenly between both functional roles. Essential Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Compliance & Continuous Improvement Advisor role include the following: Serve as on-site compliance coordinator; collaborate directly with senior leaders across the business regarding the rollout of the business unit compliance program Coordinate and lead the planning, rollout and successful completion of all compliance risk assessments for business unit Identify key compliance metrics, develop requirements and reporting calendar aligned to GECAS Core Work with legal to identify and document applicable laws and regulations for the business Coordinate and participate in onsite compliance audits and ensure completion of compliance related training Coordinate implementation of policies and procedures of various compliance program elements including AML, improper payments, OFAC/Sanctions, Anti-Trust and TRE Lead the organization in use of CAP, WorkOut, LEAN and other tools and methodologies to identify process gaps and help drive process improvement. Provide support to all departments by helping to identify opportunities for process improvement and help project manage the implementation of same Track, assist and facilitate project management for improvement in key business objectives Work cross functionally to plan projects and initiatives that resolve customer issues, returns and complaints at their root cause Other compliance and continuous improvement duties and projects as required Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business, management or process oriented discipline and/or 3+ years of equivalent work experience in business, quality management, leadership, legal, compliance, audit or regulatory related work Excellent Problem Solving Skills Proven project management experience; Project Management certification highly preferred Knowledge of lean production systems and basic understanding of six-sigma problem solving techniques Excellent influencing and persuasion skills with demonstrated ability to navigate successfully within a matrix organization.
